Contract Close Out Services
The contractor delivered the product or performed the services; now how do we ensure everything is properly closed out, all deliverables and reports are received, any owner furnished equipment and/or material is returned or properly accounted for, all inspections are completed and accepted, warranties are properly registered, and all other "loose ends" are tied up. Services can be as simple as contract document review and oversight or as complete as on-site facilitation and owner's representative services.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Services
Litigation is time consuming and very expensive! Alternative Dispute
Resolution (ADR) provides other options to resolve differences and
conflicts without engaging legal counsel. Arbitration and mediation
are two of the most useful tools to settle problems and achieve a
mutually agreeable settlement with the least time and expense.
Each Associate assigned to the client for any ADR services will
be properly trained and certified as required. Using ADR generally
does not preclude either side from advancing their case to court.
Hayslette & Associates will not be providing any legal
representation or services. We can provide subcontracted legal services
performed by an attorney authorized to practice in your state if
required or requested.

Contract Negotiation Services
Do you have a potential contract that needs special negotiation skills
not available within your organization? We provide specific negotiating
agents that have the specialized skills for negotiating contracts for
information technology, software, financial services, personal services,
professional services, architect & engineering services, and many other
specialties. The services provided may range from briefing of the
negotiating team, to negotiating strategy development, to participating
with the team in the negotiations, to completely negotiating the contract
as a quasi-agent of the organization. Development and construction of
the ensuing contract document(s) can also be provided.

Contract Change Order and Modification Reviews and Negotiations
The contract is in place but needs to be changed. We provide services to
assist your organization with review of proposed changes, either internally
generated or from the contractor, and negotiation of equitable change
orders and modifications to any type of contract. This includes work on
constructive change orders / modifications - when the performance or terms
of the contract have been changed because of circumstances and/or without
official authorization.
We can also provide assistance in determining and negotiating an equitable
settlement for contract termination for default or termination for convenience.
